June 15, 2007 - General
GrantedGE V2.8 released into beta-test. V2.8 contains completes the first phase of scholarship functionality. This release also contains basic alert processing, additional workflow processing and user-defined profile data. Version 2.8 will be shipped to the existing beta-test sites for final testing and approval.

May 21, 2007 - Hoedown
Fusion Labs, along with Blackbaud, recently hosted more than 40 nonprofit leaders from across the nation at a three-day meeting focusing on key issues facing community foundations. The companies presented a vision for their latest community foundation offerings, including enhanced Internet tools. Among clients who participated in the event were Foundation For The Carolinas (FFTC), The Seattle Foundation, Maine Community Foundation, and Communities Foundation of Texas (CFT). This is the fifth Hoedown hosted by Fusion Labs and the participation of Blackbaud, Inc. added to the successful outcome of the event.

May 10, 2007 - Hoedown
The Special Interest Group (SIG) has been an active and effective part of the design of the GrantedGE product. The SIG meets, in general, every 2 weeks. At the beginning of May, the SIG passed a significant milestone - there are now over 100 members of the SIG. Congratulations to everyone, especially those who joined the SIG over 1 year ago.

October 31, 2007 - Hoedown
The fourth Hoedown was successfully held in Santa Fe, NM. Special thanks to the Santa Fe Community Foundation for hosting the session. Again the hoedown allowed the GrantedGE user group to get together and discuss ways to improve both business and technology systems.
Significant progress was made and several 'thought-leaders' were assigned to lead the group in the key areas of scholarships, online web applications and community outreach (linking donors with community projects).

July 1, 2006 - SIG
Although the Special Interest Group (SIG) has met on a sporadic basis, Fusion Labs is moving the meetings to a regular two-week schedule.  The meeting will be conducted using the GoToMeeting 'web meeting' software hosted by Citrix Online.
